As the 15s season quickly approaches, we are excited to referee the final 7s tournament of the year this Saturday. All clubs within the Bath Combination are invited to participate in this annual event. This season 16 teams will compete in the tournament, with a total of 34 matches scheduled to take place across two pitches. We look forward to a thrilling day of rugby and hope to see everyone there, cheering on their favourite teams.
The society is excited to announce that the event will support all levels of the refereeing pyramid. This gathering will offer newer referees the opportunity to serve as assistant referees alongside those with more experience. We are fortunate to have Jonathan Healy and Paul Box, both esteemed members of the PGMOT, joining us. Additionally, R1 referee Chris Hoadley will be present to share his valuable expertise with our three Young Match Officials (YMOs) – Seb, Sky, and Callum. As always, our 7s guru, Harry Garmston, will be in attendance to impart his wisdom and insights. This event promises to be a valuable experience for everyone involved, fostering growth and development within our refereeing community. We look forward to seeing you there!
