With the league season beginning tomorrow we look forward to some fantastic fixtures to start the season with great success. As there is no exchange today we look forward to some great local derbies across the county.
Following last Sunday’s society pre-season training day we are all eager to start the season & get our whistles back out following a summer off for most of the membership. We have some really tasty schools games to start the season on Friday night with four local Bath based schools playing in a pre-season type tournament at Combe Down RFC which we send Ollie Spratt & Andy Van Roy to referee.
With the split start to the new season for those in Counties 3 & 4, we only see the start for those in the South league in Somerset. This means the North are playing some last minute friendlies to keep their players interested. With 25 games for our referees this Saturday we start the season off gently.
To bookend the weekend, Bath Rugby Ladies take on Ivybridge Women at Lambridge with Karl Gibson taking charge of this fixture.
