Another week means that we have plenty of midweek games for our referees to be out officiating. This week we have a complete mix with an ACE game at Richard Huish College who are welcoming City of Oxford College to Ash Meadows where Rhys Cleary takes the whistle & Sarah McClelland enjoys a touring side for the first time in her refereeing career when she takes charge of USA side Rayleigh Venoms game against Bridgwater & Albion Women.
There are a couple of Continental Tyre Vase games which includes Kings Bruton’s game against Sherborne’s school side Gryphon with University of Bath student Ollie Spratt taking charge under the mentorship of Alan Bell & earlier in the week Dave Mealing takes the whistle for the battle of the Cathedral schools when Wells take on Bristol.
Some final preparation games take place at University of Bath & Colerne who welcome the Royal Navy U23 & Salisbury 2 respectively. The game between University of Bath & Royal Navy U23 will be refereed by Navy & SRRS member Simon Reeves who is assisted by Darren Young & Shaun Briddon, the game at Colerne will be refereed by student Ollie Spratt on his game two of four on a trot.
