This week is the finals of both the Somerset Cup & Vase competitions. These games are awarded to referees that have shown not only this season, but in previous seasons, the effort & dedication it takes to succeed at being part of Somerset Rugby Referees Society. The honour of being awarded the Cup Final this season is given to Spencer Pearce who will be assisted by development squad colleagues Ed Eades & Ben Branson. Chairman Reg Lewis will be there to look after the technical areas. Simon Reeves has the honour of refereeing the Vase Final with Alex Priddle & Sven Bassett his assistances, Dave Connolly-Mealing is his 4th Official.
Elsewhere there is also some Bath Combination Vase action plus some Academy rugby with us having both Bath Rugby & Bristol Bears games this week. As with all Easter weekends we also have a touring game taking place on Saturday.
