This weekend we will be sending a selection of 4 referees on a 7s exchange with our neighbours Gloucestershire. We will be sending Rhys Cleary, Stephen Potter, Matt Williams & Scott Haynes to enjoy some summer rugby at one of the most up & coming tournaments in the South West.
Cheltenham 7s takes place at Cheltenham Tigers RFC is a full festival of sport with not just rugby, but also Netball & Dodgeball. The rugby starts on Friday night with two charity games; a tradition which has grown from men’s only to now having a women’s game too. On Saturday it is the big day where our 4 referees will find themselves on 1 of the 6 rugby pitches. There is a competition for all with both Men’s & Women’s Elite down to Super Dupa Social for the men & for the Women’s there is a 10s competition for them to enjoy.
We would like to wish all these referees well & hope that our partnership for 7s continues with Gloucestershire.
