In accordance with the society rules, we successfully held our Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 15th May, at Tor RFC. To express our gratitude for their dedication throughout the season, all members were greeted with a complimentary drink upon arrival. The meeting followed the standard AGM agenda, and we are pleased to report that all items were passed with ease. It was a productive and enjoyable evening, reflecting the strong sense of community and commitment within our society.
The society recently had the pleasure of honouring one of its long-standing members. Lawrence ‘Larry’ Davies, who has been an integral part of our community for many years, was awarded Life Membership. Larry has greatly contributed to our society in various capacities, having served on the committee in several roles and acted as a referee, mentor, and adviser over the years. His dedication and commitment have significantly influenced and enriched our community, making this recognition well-deserved.
