This weekend, we are delighted to announce that some of our members have the honour of being part of the match official teams for the County Championship semi-finals. The winners of these matches will advance to Twickenham in a couple of weeks’ time. All these dedicated officials will be travelling south to Devon for the event. Let’s extend our best wishes to them as they represent us on this significant occasion.
This Saturday, Chris Hoadley will lead the Match Official Team, which includes two assistant referees from Cornwall, Will Williams and Lee Maher, as well as Andy Boraston from Devon RRS serving as the 4th Official. The Men’s County Championship Division 2 Semi-Final between Devon RFU and Staffordshire RFU will take place at Ivybridge RFC.
This Sunday, Lindsay Evans and new member Hannah Stewart will referee Dorset & Wilts referee Jodie Jeffrey in the Women’s Gill Burns County Championship Division 2 semi-final. Devon RFU will compete against Berkshire RFU in what promises to be a thrilling match. Tammy Argent will serve as the 4th official, ensuring smooth operations, while Chris Hoadley will provide expertise as the referee coach.
