The SRRS AGM will take place at 19:30 on Thursday 15th May 25 at Tor RFC. Your attendance is strongly encouraged. We remind all members that early arrive is recommend for the AGM to make sure you register before the AGM starts.
The main order of business will be to elect next year’s committee and you will be pleased to know that all of the current committee have put themselves forward to serve another year. Regardless of this, any member is entitled to come forward for election to any of the Committee posts provided they are nominated and seconded by members. Nominations should be notified, email, to Honorary Secretary, Dave Connolly-Mealing, by Thursday 17th April 2025. Any special motions or business should also be notified to Dave by this date. All of this is detailed in The Rules of the Society, which can be found here.
Dave also needs your votes for the prestigious Bell Trophy please. We award this to the club we collectively judge to be the most hospitable to Match Officials, be this on or off the field. All members are entitled to a vote. Please email, text or WhatsApp him with your votes. So far, he only has 8 votes so your input is vital. Voting closes on Monday, 14 April.
